Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity in Leicester? We are seeking a committed and dynamic leader to oversee our well-established Extra Care scheme supporting adults to live independently within a safe and welcoming community environment.
About the Service
Our Supported service is based in Leicester and provides 24-hour support to adults aged 18 and over, comprising of 25+ self contained flats. We support individuals with:
- Mild learning disabilities
- Mental health diagnoses
- Physical disabilities
- Vulnerabilities associated with living independently
The scheme consists of self-contained flats alongside shared communal facilities, including a spacious kitchen, lounge, social areas, and a garden. The service has a strong community feel and benefits from being close to shops, a library, leisure facilities, social clubs, and excellent public transport links.
A dedicated team of Support Workers and an Administrator are already in place.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational management of the service
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
- Promote a culture of independence, dignity, and person-centred support
- Lead, motivate and develop the staff team
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and health & safety
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community

About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within adult social care
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A commitment to promoting independence and person-centred care
