Brookes HC Recruitment is looking for compassionate and resilient Residential Care Workers to join a small residential service supporting three young people aged 13–16.
📍 Erdington, Birmingham
💷 £12.71–£13.09 per hour
⏰ 37.5 contracted hours per week
🌙 Day shifts with sleep-in duties
📄 Permanent position
The role involves providing nurturing and therapeutic support, building positive relationships and helping the young people with their daily routines, activities, personal care and development of independent-living skills.
We’re looking for people who:
- Have experience or a strong understanding of adolescents and challenging behaviour
- Can build appropriate and trusting relationships with young people
- Are reliable, resilient and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Can work flexibly across weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in duties
- Are committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people
Previous children’s residential experience is desirable. Support will be provided to complete the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare if required.
An enhanced DBS and satisfactory references will be required.
