Activities Co-Ordinator – Learning Disabilities & Mental Health – £12.21 per hour
Leicester / £12.21 / Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm / Must be able to drive and have access to a car
Are you creative, organised, and passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives?
We’re looking for an Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team in a welcoming 22-bed home supporting adults (18+) with severe learning disabilities and mental health needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and delivering engaging daily activities tailored to service users’ needs and interests
- Organising both in-house sessions and external trips/outings
- Encouraging participation and building confidence in service users
- Working closely with colleagues to promote a supportive, inclusive, and positive environment
- Keeping records of activities, outcomes, and feedback
What we’re looking for:
- A caring, enthusiastic, and creative individual with strong communication skills
- Experience in a care or support environment (desirable but not essential)
- Confidence in planning and delivering group and 1:1 activities
- Someone with initiative who can motivate and inspire others
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car
