Brookes HC Recruitment is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join a small residential service supporting three young people aged 13–16.
📍 Erdington, Birmingham
💷 £14.38–£14.76 per hour
💼 £28,041–£28,782 per year
⏰ 37.5 contracted hours per week
🌙 Day shifts with sleep-in duties
📄 Full-time, permanent position
You will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of the home, provide leadership and guidance to the staff team, maintain accurate records and help ensure that consistently high standards of safeguarding and therapeutic care are delivered.
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an accepted equivalent
- At least two years’ relevant residential childcare experience within the last five years
- Experience and understanding of adolescent and challenging behaviour
- Effective leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A valid UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in duties
An enhanced DBS and satisfactory references will be required.
