Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity in Leicester? We are seeking a committed and dynamic leader to oversee our well-established Extra Care scheme supporting adults to live independently within a safe and welcoming community environment.

About the Service

Our Supported service is based in Leicester and provides 24-hour support to adults aged 18 and over, comprising of 25+ self contained flats. We support individuals with:

  • Mild learning disabilities
  • Mental health diagnoses
  • Physical disabilities
  • Vulnerabilities associated with living independently

The scheme consists of self-contained flats alongside shared communal facilities, including a spacious kitchen, lounge, social areas, and a garden. The service has a strong community feel and benefits from being close to shops, a library, leisure facilities, social clubs, and excellent public transport links.

A dedicated team of Support Workers and an Administrator are already in place.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational management of the service
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
  • Promote a culture of independence, dignity, and person-centred support
  • Lead, motivate and develop the staff team
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and health & safety
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within adult social care
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A commitment to promoting independence and person-centred care
